A Port in Kansas City

Historically, ports served as the primary entry to a city, a connecting point for people and goods. In fact, we still ship freight at the Port of Kansas City along the Missouri River. In our modern world, ports are still connectors and generate hubs of activities. However, the duties of port authorities have expanded. As outlined by Missouri state statute, Port KC is responsible for:
